Well, we are going on RES-Q-Challenge #3! This week is JoAnn's turn to hostess and she has come up with a fabulous challenge to go with our new April theme, Daisies and Diamonds! We had to use brown as a primary color and one accessory color, the colors of gerbera daisies (red, orange, yellow or pink). And we had to incorporate diamonds...so here is what I came up with...
This one I actually made the main panel a diamond, as well as the diamond scored BG.
recipe: SU chocolate chip, real red, PTI white cardstock; Papertrey Ink Damask Designs; EK success border punch; scor-pal,; white gel pen; red grosgrain ribbon; versamark; white EPFor this one I went with the scored diamond BG again but I used Coredinations paper (the paper has a different color center) and sanded over the cored part. Cool, huh?
recipe: Coredinations cardstock, SU chocolate chip, PTI white CS; Papertrey ink Anniversary set; scor-pal; satin ribbon; dew drops; SU apricot appeal, chocolate chip, black ink
Thanks so much for joining us!
See you next Monday!

Denise, I love them both. The red one has that red/black/white classiness to it and the apricot one is just so sweet and springy. Scoring was the perfect way to incorporate diamonds. Thanks again for doing all of this.
I love them both, D! The scored background is so cool!
Awesome cards! When you said diamonds I was thinking sparkles not the shape! Great idea!!
Denise, I love these colors together! You did an excellent job with the diamond scored background...just beautiful!!!
Blessings, Maria
