Clean and Simple Monday

This week's Clean and Simple challenge is Things that Fly! Well, I had to stray from the obvious (at first anyway)...I avoided all butterflies for this!

My first is a little obtuse...but the skull has wings so technically it flies, right?
recipe: stamps- Inkadinkadoo, Papertrey ink always argyle
paper- PTI scarlett jewel, kraft, white
ink- fresh snow, black, versamark

Next up is another A-typical...a heart can have wings too I guess...LOL This is a one-layer...I love coloring with copics on kraft paper!

recipe: stamps- Technique Tuesday, Papertrey ink Heart Prints Sentiments
paper- kraft
ink- fresh snow, black
accessories- copic markers, rhinestones

And, lastly some hot air balloons! These always make me think of my vacation home in Lake George in the Adirondack mountains of NY. SO much fun! The balloons are popped up on dimensionals and sponged around to make them pop.

recipe: stamps- Papertrey Ink Everyday Button Bits
paper- unk DP, PTI white, dark chocolate
ink- PTI spring rain, dark chocolate
accessories- circle punches

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a Great Week!

Tea for a few RESQ49

This week on RESQ challenge we had a fabulous Guest Crew Member! This is Lisa's challenge:

To remind us of our "Top Three," somewhere on your card place three of something: three brads in a row, three hearts, or three words...

The top 3 is ways to have a happy marriage (and she should know she has been married 20 years and has 11 kids!)...

Here is my card...I used 3 flat back pearls for my 3...This card is also for the inspiration challenge on SCS this week...a site called Roses and Teacups. I chose these tea towels as my inspiration...

recipe: stamps- Gina K. My Cuppa, papertrey ink Round and Round (sentiment)
paper- PTI rustic white, assorted scraps of DP
ink- black
accessories- pearls, black sharpie

Thanks for stopping in today! Have a Great Weekend!

etsy inspired!

Today I have a new challenge that makes me happy...the Etsy Inspired challenge! This week's etsy store is called How Beadyful! OMG how cute is that? I chose these super cute covered buttons ...

mostly because I knew I had a scrap of checked blue fabric laying around from a baby shower favor I made...

here is my card! I used spray adhesive to attach the fabric square to the paper. The flower was die cut out of bashful blue and vellum. How funny that I came up with that blue flower gem for the center too!?
This was a super fun challenge, I plan to come back and play on wednesdays...Thanks for stopping by!

Pretending to be Normal...CAS70

Well, I didn't make it onto the CAS Design Team...

I was invited to be the Co-Coordinator! How exciting!

So for my first week as a team member is the challenge:

CAS70 - Quotes, Verses, & Sayings
The challenge is to use a greeting as the main focus of your CAS card.

And here is my sample:

Basically, I was re-inking some of my stamp pads and made a mess...hence my BG paper. Then I started doodling on it...then I "accidentally" left my coffee cup ring on it...then just for fun I added my thumbprint. LOL Can you guess what my hands look like?
I thought this sentiment was apropos for what this paper looked like...and that's pretty much me!

The Clean and Simple challenges are every Monday on the Splitcoast Stampers website...Hope to see you there! Thanks for stopping by!
Card Recipe:
stamps- River City Rubber Works,
Papertrey Ink Mini Scrapbook Series:Tabs
paper- white, black, kraft
ink- a whole lotta
accessories- PTI tab die, black marker
