some new stuff!

Here are some Scrapbook pages I recently did for VSBN (that's Virtual Scrapbook Night) on SCS...kinda like VSN but with scrapbook layouts! It's a great way to get a bunch of pages done in one afternoon! This one had lots of fun challenges based around a TV theme. Enjoy!

This challenge was to use "office" supplies on your layout...I love to use paper clips and stuff!

This was a sketch challenge...you had to follow this sketch with 8 boxes (like the Brady Bunch LOL)

This one was my favorite...a Seinfeld challenge! You had to use 7 of the same embellishment (like George's famous "seven" episode) and got bonus points for using a quote from Seinfeld (which I did LOL)...

These were the best pictures to scrap! You probably heard the story and saw these here before.

VSN MINI samples

Sorry guys but I have been busy doing Secret Squirrel stuff for the upcoming VSN! Here are some of the challenges from the VSN MINI that was held on March 8th:

This challenge was to re-do a regular sized card and make it tall and skinny. I couldn't decide on a small one so I just made both:

Supplies: Merci, SU DP, barely banana, eyelets, ribbon, colored w/ prisma watercolor pencils and aqua painter

This next one was to use the split negative technique. I had never done it before and was really happy with it!
Supplies used: choc. chip, ww, real red, white & red EP, brads, unk. flower stamp, so many sayings, sheer brown ribbon

This one was to use some kind of pearls or pearly effect. I scored some awesome self-adhesive pearls at my LSS and thought this Diva needed a strand of them!
Supplies used: barely banana, pretty in pink, Basic Grey 2 scoops DP, Rubber Romance-"April, Martini Girl", self adhesive pearls, ribbon, SU rub-ons, colored with prisma watercolor pencils and aqua painter

This last one was to use the "faux silk" tecnique. This is fabulous and gives a very elegant look. I used a piece of acetate for the sentiment so the faux silk could really show through.

Supplies used: vv, wild wasabi, purely pomegranate, Roses in Winter, acetate, ribbon, heart brad, sentiment from Rubber Romance
