I've been tagged!
Ok, so I'VE BEEN TAGGED! My friend Michelle from February VSN has tagged me which means I have to list 5 of my favorite blogs. One problem though...all of my favs have been tagged already! So, I decided to branch out and look for more fun new blogs....
Here's what I found:
www.alifeandartinprogress.blogspot.com She has really pretty cards and links of lots of her Italian friends' blogs!
www.allistamps.blogspot.com Alli makes gorgeous stuff and also did a chipboard tutorial using her cuttlebug!
www.basementstamper.blogspot.com Kim does some awesome interpretations for so many challenges...and she is expecting her 3rd little one! Congrats!
http://ginapier.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com Gina is the "Grand-Dame" of the Wish Rak forum and makes gorgeous stuff...her blog is also beautiful!
http://stamping4u.blogspot.com/ What a cute crab! I just loved this card and all the great stuff this chick does with Bellas!
I'm so glad I had to search around the blogs out there! There were so many more I could have tagged! I just love getting the email that there are updates to all the fun blogs I visit. Keep up the great work girls!

some samples from Stamp a Stack
These are 2 cards from our last Stamp a Stack...I have been crazy for these Rhonna Farrer swirls lately... This one was inspired by cdrhoades.
This one uses a modified kissing technique, a twisted kiss...I "kissed" the stamps together and twisted, kinda looks like tye-dyed, huh? This was inspired by a card I saw by bdrew on SCS.
This one wasn't from our class, but I needed a bridal shower card with a black and white theme...
Right now, we are getting into the beginning preps for our Mother's Day workshop, and our ALL DAY crop. On top of that I need to design my DD's birthday party invites (at least I have a theme), start on bridal shower invites for my cousin, get an idea for another recipe swap I joined, and come up with something spectaular for make for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day. Can you spell SWAMPED? Always have time to read though....at the moment I am reading "Prints Charming" by Rebeca Seitz. I recieved this book for hosting VSBN on SplitCoast Stampers. It's really intriguing and revolves around 4 friends brought together by scrapbooking. I highly recommend it to you, a good good, read...here is Rebeca's website for you to check out.

Back in the Saddle
Well, after that long vacation break (seemed like an eternity without school!) we are back to business! So many things going on too...First here is the scrapbook page I promised, uh ....a long time ago! It's even more appropriate as it seems we are going to get some real spring weather soon!
This layout was done using a Stampin' Up Simply Scrappin' Kit from SAB, Office Accouterments, Definitely Decorative Daisy (retired) and some extra Rhonna Farrer swirly stamps. I really like the color combo and the kit made it very easy to coordinate!
Next up is an Adult Stamp A Stack on Friday, April 13th. We will do our usual 8 cards for $20 and have a special raffle! RSVP to me or Toni...
We are doing a special Mother's Day Gift Set workshop on May 4th and 6th (Friday night and Sunday afternoon). This will be a great gift idea for any special "Mom" in your life. It will be 3 projects...a card, a mini tote, and an accordion album for $25. Call to reserve your place today!
Whew! And after that...we prepare for our first ALL DAY Crop! At the moment it is sold out but I will post if we have any cancellations...
Time to get ready for school! Have a great Day!
