Happy Summer!

Well, it's been in the 90's here in NY....very strange for June...but I guess that means summer is here early. I love Summer...it is by far my favorite season. I love not having to wear socks or coats and not having a schedule to follow! As soon as the kids are done with school, the no-schedule thing will start! For the moment....we are going on our first vacation of the summer! This weekend we are going up to the Adirondack mountains of NY, to Lake George. My family had been going there since my Great Grandparents bought a little cabin there in 1960! The town and the cabin have changed over the years but I always get the same feeling when we see those mountains and the Lake! My kids love it too and this weekend we will be camping with friends.

These are some Lake George Pictures from Last summer....

This picture is from the Top of The World...a park at the very top of one of the bggest mountains...
This is the public beach that we walk to from our cabin...the boat in the background is one of the big boats that do tours of the Lake...
Gia and Chris both loved the beach, we went every day and they never got bored!

Roasting marshmallows after dinner was another favorite activity.....

Looking forward to some good times this weekend!
Have a wonderful Father's Day!
